Q.23- Read the following passage carefully and answer the question given below it.
Just as men live in houses, birds live in nests. They build nests to lay their eggs which need to be kept warm. Birds use many things to make their nests and they make them in different places.
Some birds build their nests in the branches of trees or on rocks. These nests may look unsafe but they are quite strong and comfortable. In fact, some eagles use the same nest year after year. Some birds build their nests out of mud while some birds from grass.
Holes in the ground are also used as nests. Birds that do not fly, such as the ostrich make their nests in the ground Parrots, doves and some owls do not build nests at all. They try to find one ready-made to take over. And the cuckoo simply lays its eggs in another bird’s nest and leaves them for the other birds to look after.
